Fruit and citrus decoction

    Ingredients:
    - dried figs: 6
    - prickly pears: 2
    - dried pears: 6
    - almond shells: 6
    - mallow root: 1 (or a spoonful of leaves)
    - the peels of anorange

    This herbal tea was used to calm coughs and to decongest the respiratory tract when one was struck by flu.

    Boil the whole mixture in a liter and a half (1,5 liters) of water for half an hour and let it rest for 5 minutes more.
    Drain it, sweeten it with honey and drink it hot.
