FILETTO DI MANZO IN CROSTA - Tastiness Food Shop

BEEF FILLET IN CRUST

Ingredients:
- 1 kg. and 800 of beef fillet
- 3 nuts of butter
- 2 carrots, 1 onion
- 1 egg yolk
- 500 gr. fresh mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce
- Salt, pepper
- 1 tablespoon of starch
- 1 glass and ½ of Madeira
For the decoration:
12 small tomatoes
1 kg of green beans
For the puff pastry:
- Salt
- 500 gr. flour
- 250 gr. butter

Put the amount of two nuts of butter, in pieces, the chopped carrots and onions in the drip pan, and on top lay the piece of meat already prepared, cleaned and tied and put the casserole in a hot oven. In the meantime, prepare a mushroom purée with pomidoro sauce by chopping the mushrooms which you have washed and dried well beforehand, cook them in the remaining knob of butter and then add the pomidoro sauce and mix perfectly so that everything remains amalgamated forming a homogeneous mixture. After about fifteen minutes remove the meat from the oven and cover it with the mushroom puree, then wrap it in the puff pastry which you have already prepared separately with the doses indicated and have rolled out into a rectangular shape, brown the pastry with egg and decorate the surface with the tip of a knife. Put it back into the hot oven and let it cook for about twenty minutes. Serve garnishing the dish with the small grilled tomatoes and green beans boiled and then pureed in butter.
