Pasta - Fileja of Tropea
Fileja is a typical pasta of the Calabrian province of Vibo Valentia. Its elongated and curved shape is given by a particular manufacturing process. It is served with fresh tomato sauce and possibly with the typical grated Pecorino cheese and a good hot Calabrian chilli pepper. An excellent choice can also be to flavour it with the famous Nduja of Spilinga.
It is a product of artisan workmanship dried at low temperatures.
