Sicilian pistachio cheese - Verde di Sicilia
Semi-mature Sicilian cheese, with an absolutely intense and enveloping taste, rich in the aroma conferred by the refinement with finely ground Sicilian pistachios that cover its entire surface. After being formed, the cheese is placed in brine for 72 hours, totally covered on the rind with a consistent layer of freshly ground pistachios, which are then aged and refined for about 60 days, strictly on wooden boards. All this gives the particular spicy taste. The milk used comes exclusively from Sicilian farms. Produced without preservatives.
The whole form weighs about 3 kg, you can also choose slices portioned in a vacuum from the 'special drop-down menu that follows. we suggest that before consuming the product to open it from vacuum and leave it all' air 15 minutes so that the cheese of pure sheep's milk can in contact with the 'air oxygenate and transmit the full organoleptic characteristics combined with those of Sicilian pistachio.
