Moscato Passito di Saracena - Slow Food Presidium

The Moscato Passito IGT Al Governo Potificio is a sweet wine whose recipe dates back centuries, fruit of ancient traditions and rigorous manual workmanship, expressing all the love for the territory and slow viticulture. In past centuries it was the duty that the government of the small town of Saracena paid to the Papal States. The Muscat grapes are harvested in advance and dried in the sun of Calabria, then vinified after boiling. The maturation time is at least 3 years with several passages in oak barrels.
