Pian delle Vigne produced by the historic Antinori winery is a prestigious red wine made from 100% Sangiovese grapes. Obtained from harvesting, performed strictly by hand, the grapes are softly crushed, the must is then transferred to steel tanks, where for 21 days the fermentation process takes place at a controlled temperature. Racked into large oak barrels, maturation lasts for a period of time of about 2 years; after which the wine is bottled, but before being released on the market it still refines in the bottle.
