Traditional sweet prepared with almonds, honey and spices and is historically linked to the city of the Strait, where it is produced by pastry shops, bars and bakeries. It is characterized by the transverse cut into thin slices, which also distinguishes it from the stomatico, from which it also differs because the almonds are inserted directly into the dough.
