Sicilian Carob Liqueur
In addition to making flour, carobs can also be used to prepare a liqueur. Carob liqueur is an excellent digestive and is ideal to accompany a dessert at the end of a meal. If served cold, the liqueur is also a pleasant aperitif to sip before dinner. If consumed fresh, it is the best way to appreciate all the organoleptic qualities of carob.
