Found in Syracuse in the 19th century, this variety has a much more intense flavour and a redder colour than the others. Moro oranges have a medium size, are very sweet and juicy, almost seedless, very pigmented and are among the most suitable to be squeezed. Their characteristic color is due to the presence of anthocyanins, flavonoids among the most important present in vegetables.
The Moro oranges have excellent organoleptic qualities, in fact, being rich in flavonoids, they are an aid to fight the signs of aging by promoting the reconstitution of collagen fibers. They are also very rich in water, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, sodium, vitamin A and C, and carotenoids. With a low caloric intake, they are excellent for creating juices that can help us against seasonal colds and, last but not least, are rich in antioxidants.
We collect them after receiving your order in order to guarantee you a product as fresh as possible.
