Lacrima Nera Rosso Riserva - Terre di Cosenza DOP

Near the Pollino National Park, in the province of Cosenza.
This wine is made entirely from grapes of the Lacrima Nera variety, harvested and selected late by hand, in mid-October. After a soft pressing of the bunches, the must ferments in steel tanks with temperature control. The wine then ages in barriques for 12-16 months and further in glass before being released on the market.
Lacrima shows in the glass a ruby red colour of great intensity. On the nose it expresses intense scents of black cherry and aromatic herbs, enriched by delicate spicy notes. It can be appreciated for its savoury, full and soft taste.

Perfect to be matched with all the dishes of the Calabrian cuisine, it proves to be particularly suitable with game, red meats and mature cheeses.
